Government of Canada awards Apption 1st place in business competition

Apption’s business case for innovative new product selected for first place by panel of government and industry experts.
OTTAWA - Apption Software Corporation, an innovative provider of converged application development and new product introduction services, announced today that it has been selected for 1st place in the Y Enterprise Center business plan competition. Apption was selected by a panel of experts from the Federal Government, the Y Enterprise Center, and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Canada (CIBC).
The award was based upon a presentation of their business plan for commercialization of a converged software classifieds platform that enables a new generation of newspaper classifieds. The value provided to newspaper publishers includes increased revenue through online up sells such as photos, mobile content distribution, improved customer experience, and an operational cost reduction up to 90%.
