What is Datahub?

Datahub is a user-focused, cloud portal that provides a "single-pane of glass" to access every feature needed for an end-to-end data science or analytics project.

This project was funded and developed in collaboration with Shared Services Canada and Natural Resources Canada.

Accelerate access to analytics, machine learning, and AI

Databricks and Jupyter notebooks and tools can be easily launched through the portals. Users can access API extensions for common tools such as PowerBI.

Simplify cloud cost management and approvals

Datahub handles unique cost management standards and approval workflows to make launching and tracking data projects faster and simpler. Government of Canada standards are pre-built into the solution.

Achieve multi-cloud data governance

Users can use single-sign-on to browse multi-cloud storage (AWS, GCP, Azure), discover, tag, and catalog their data. Datahub supports protected and sensitive data auditing and state-of-the-art data security configuration.

How it works

Launch Databricks notebooks within the platform to access Databricks’ powerful data & AI tools. Integrated storage lets users browse and mount offline data to use for analytics.
